Data used on the watch

• Local time, date, device settings, battery, and charging state.
• Daily steps and calories, plus the latest cached heart-rate sample.
• Garmin-cached current weather and hourly forecasts.
• An available cached position used to calculate sunrise and sunset.
• Garmin’s alarm and Do Not Disturb state when the device exposes it.
• Garmin’s notification count when the optional Show notification count setting is enabled.

Processing and transmission

The current release has no Communications permission, developer server, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, account system, or developer telemetry. It does not send the data above to devjoe.

The watch face does not display coordinates or transmit, serialize, or write them to release logs. Status values are processed locally and are used only to decide whether the compact indicators are visible.

Stored preferences

Garmin’s application-properties system stores only watch-face preferences, including AOD ornament, weather-frame style, Outdoor Brief mode, Weather Signals choices, and the default-off Show notification count setting.

External support

The support page may link to GitHub and Ko-fi. Those services have their own privacy terms. The watch face does not send Garmin data, device identifiers, settings, usage history, or Tip status to either service.
