Known issues
No confirmed product defects are currently published. These Garmin platform boundaries can affect what appears on the watch.
Weather freshness
Weather availability depends on Garmin’s cached data, the paired phone, account setup, permissions, and synchronization.
Weather labels
Garmin may omit location metadata. Burnished Sky Ahead avoids exposing coordinates and shows only the current condition caption or an honest weather fallback.
Forecast availability
Garmin may omit hourly rows or individual values. Burnished Sky Ahead keeps those values visibly unknown and does not invent a forecast.
Alarm detail
Connect IQ can report an alarm count on supported devices, but it does not expose the next alarm time, repeat rule, weekday, or Smart Wake state.
Notification count
The optional indicator reflects Garmin’s on-device count, which may settle over several device refreshes after notifications are cleared. Burnished Sky Ahead does not inspect message contents.
Precipitation detail
Garmin supplies one general precipitation chance rather than separate rain and snow probabilities, and does not expose snow accumulation depth here.
Always-on display
Device sleep settings may turn off AOD independently of the watch face’s AOD design.
